Kung Fu and ADD
Pediatricians have recommended the Kung Fu style of martial arts training to help ADD
behavior. Unlike the aggressive techniques demonstrated in other styles of martial
arts. Sifu Rick Panico, LPN, has over six years of experience teaching and assisting
ADD children with great success. Many parents have praised the results of their
children's progress including good concentration, improved grades, more consistant
behavior, and a great improvement in self-esteem.
Open Sparring Night
The first Friday of every month is Spar Night. Students from all martial disciplines
may come to the school to practice sparring with other styles. All are welcome, but
remember this is sparring practice (light contact). There are no winners or losers.
Warmup starts at 7:00pm and sparring starts around 7:30pm and lasts until 9pm.
Join us afterwards for dinner at a local restaurant and good martial arts fellowship.
A $3 donation is requested at door from all participants and spectators to help defer the
cost of replacing equipment, utilities, etc.
Structured
Athletics for Challenged Children (SACC)
Children who are mentally and physically handicapped can learn Kung Fu at the own
pace. Classes are held every other Saturday and are free. Click here for the press article.
